Liverpool Networking Event: Human Connections
Ways to Wow – Liverpool networking event.
A Different Kind of Liverpool Networking Event
I’ll be honest—most Liverpool networking events feel the same.
Polished small talk. Awkward introductions. Business cards that rarely lead anywhere.
So when we partnered with Way To Wow and attended their Human Connections event in Liverpool, I was curious… but cautious.
From the moment I walked into Mansion nightclub, it felt different.
Less formal. More energy. People were already in conversation—not waiting for permission to start one.

When Networking Starts to Work
For this Liveprool Networking event, Leon McCowan guided the room without overdoing it. No forced intros—just enough structure to get people talking properly.
They had interactive tech games, and everyone got involved by clicking a QR code. At some point, I stopped thinking about “networking” altogether. I was having conversations.
One of the standout moments was hearing from James Sutton, known to many from Hollyoaks.
But this wasn’t about acting.
It was about connection through service—showing up, adding value, and building relationships that last.
Ways To Wow founder Jamie Wray echoed a similar point from a branding angle.
Why I Felt at Home
As a Liverpool-based brand and marketing consultant at BrandPal, this felt like familiar ground.
I’d brought my camera too—part of our work as commercial photographers for Liverpool businesses—and started capturing a few faces I recognised.
That’s when it clicked.
I knew a lot of the room.
Not from this Liverpool Networking Event, but from others across the city.
That’s the real value of networking—it compounds.
Show up enough, and you’re not walking into a room of strangers anymore.
Everything gets easier. Better conversations. Less pressure. Real momentum.
Final Thoughts
At BrandPal, we talk a lot about clarity, positioning, and standing out.
But none of it works without connection.
This Liveprool networking event proved that when you create the right environment, bring the right people together, and focus on real interaction, you don’t just network.
You build something that lasts.
And in a world full of noise, that’s what actually moves business forward.
With thanks to Jamie and Jay at Ways To Wow.
